Colorful, fun & inspiring, the jewelry, pottery, glass and little treasures found at The Cottage evoke the whimsical nature of the beaches and marshes that surround Jekyll Island while, at the same time, reflecting the heritage of fine American craftsmanship so well-preserved in this homage to the Gilded Era.
Our Gift Gallery focuses on American and Canadian artists & fine handcrafters. Also well-represented throughout the shop is the work of Fair Trade Artisans from Africa, South America, Nepal and Indonesia. Over 80 artists and cottage industries are represented and their passion shines in the imagination, diversity and quality of the work we are proud to feature. We are always eager to share their stories; the stories that are the backbone of survival, joy and inspiration.
We have tried to capture the essence of our shop in this website so that those of you who have visited The Cottage will be able to revisit us anytime the mood strikes you. Or, if you have arrived home only to realize that you must have something from The Cottage, please call or email us and we will be happy to assist you. For those of you planning your first visit, we look forward to meeting you and sharing with you our love for everything Jekyll.

The Cottage offers a wide selection of gifts and jewelry, many hand-crafted. We have products made in the United States, Canada, and many fair-trade items from Africa, Central and South America, Indonesia, Nepal and Haiti. While we try to keep these products in stock, we cannot guarantee that a specific item you saw in the shop or that you see on the website will be in stock when you call. Please keep in mind that many of our items are one-of-a-kind and cannot be exactly replicated. Also, items may differ slightly from the photo shown due the inherent handcrafted quality of the work. We are always happy to text or email you pictures of our current inventory. If you are looking for a specific item that you might have seen in the shop but cannot find on the website, please contact us. We will be happy to help you with that. Whenever possible we will special order an item for you. Shipping times for special orders will vary by artist.
Due to the constant fluctuation of our inventory, we do not have a shopping cart. Please email us at with your requests. We gladly accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover card.
